2024 Scholarship Recipients


Sean Brown

Studio Art
Sacramento State, 2028

Sean has been studying European visual traditions and a new media art class that has helped them expand digital skills in the art world, and a beginning drawing class utilizing wet on wet ink methods for expression without limitations. For extracurriculars, they have been focusing on attending and helping at their school’s Lavender club and BSU club, primarily by using their artistic skills to help with designs for projects, such as mascots or t-shirt designs!

Annie Aguilar Hernandez

Architecture
California College of the Arts, 2028

Annie is studying 3D art, 2D art, and architecture. They have been enjoying these courses as they help them develop their skills and encourage unconventional thinking. Their favorite project so far is a wheelchair made entirely of cardboard that that can support a person’s weight.

Isabel Lombardi-Coronel

Architecture
UC Berkeley, 2028

In addition to her architecture studies, Isabel is actively involved in extracurriculars, particularly the Undergraduate Street Medicine Outreach (USMO) club, which provides resources to the unhoused community, and the Art & Mind Club, aimed at alleviating college stress through creative activities. As the historian for the Art & Mind Club, she enjoys capturing events through photography and graphic design, and she looks forward to upcoming meetings that combine her interests in mental health and the arts, while also enjoying craft nights and keychain making for her jewelry business.

Angela Tampubolon

Architecture
UC Berkeley, 2026

Angela is in her third year of architecture studio classes and is actively involved in the Sustainable Housing at California (SHAC) club where they are in Phase 1 of renovating a courtyard for the Samoan Community Development Center in Sunnydale. Additionally, they plan to attend the NOMAS Student Conference in Baltimore, Maryland, seeking insights on community design, inclusion, and diversity in architecture.

Sherry Tram

Graphic Design
UC Irvine,

Sherry serves as a marketing and design intern for the anthology yearbook team, creating graphics and advertisements, and is also involved in the design club and the Women in Information and Computer Science club. Additionally, she has been learning Adobe Animate and InDesign in her free time while working on mini projects.
